Boys and girls learn differently – that’s a fact proven in several studies (mentioned by the British physician Sir Peter Knight, 2012) and addresses mainly physics. In the project an innovative and completely new approach to teaching science (chosen subjects physics, biology and chemistry) is used, the so-called ACAT Method. This method is innovative and completely new and was first presented at the International Conference for Education, Innovation and Research (ICERI 11/2017) in Seville.
The developed learning and teaching material is based on an innovative pedagogical approach and uses modern digital tools, multimedia as an essential item in the developed material, and interactivity to motivate students to active learning. Additionally, the developed tool supply open education, will be provided as Open Educational Resources and focus on Open Educational Resources Commons (OERCommons).
